Questions.
What is Blink?
Blink reads the return, shipping and refund terms behind a product and turns them into answers people and AI agents can check. Every answer keeps the store’s own wording attached.
What is a Blink receipt?
A small signed record Blink attaches to every allowed purchase: the route that met your conditions, hashes of the purchase, the conditions and the evidence, and the policy version. Anyone can check the signature against Blink’s public key without calling Blink.
What is route mixing?
Stores often offer several ways to return an item, each with its own fee, deadline and refund type. Route mixing is when an agent takes “free” from one option and “refund to card” from another, then approves a return the store never offered. Blink checks each option on its own.
Where can I use Blink?
In ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok and any client that supports MCP, through the API in your own product, and in your browser with the Blink extension.
Does Blink buy anything for me?
No. Blink answers questions about a store’s terms and says whether a purchase meets your conditions. Your agent, or you, still decides and checks out.
What happens when a policy doesn’t say?
Blink marks it unknown. A missing fee is never read as a free return. When an unknown fact matters, the answer is REVIEW, with the missing fact named.
Where can I read the research?
The research page summarises our paper on evidence-bound policy authorization, including its limits. The full evaluation artifact is available on request.
